I wrote this one while we were living in Atlanta. I came up the melody first and had some of the lyrics in my journal.
The story behind it al is the story of the world, really - how we were created and how our souls long for that original perfection. It's no wonder that we struggle here on earth with the simple decay of life that we think is "normal"! We weren't intended for it and it will never sit well with us.
There is such comfort in knowing that our Creator and Redeemer lives with us here and now, but even that is not what was intended. I long for that day when our relationship with Him and others will be restored to that beautiful design. Until then I will always miss that...
